Lazo was composed and performed by Matthew a 17-year-old bassist from Bethesda MD. This Features Dancers from his high school: Ashima Fillbach, Erin Rawlings, and John Crim. This was filmed and edited by high school students Davey Huang and Jimmy Jiang.Matthew started playing bass when he was 11 and started composing when he was 15. He didn't receive private instruction until he was almost 13. This piece was first written and played on the streets of D.C and was actually the first of Matthews compositions. Matthew started playing on the streets when he was 15 in order to raise money to attend Interlochen the fine arts boarding school that he attends.
